Law Firm – Past and Present
Website Enhancements
The Firm’s website, www.henaultlaw.com, has been significantly upgraded. Although we deliberately chose not to take away any of the site’s familiar features, it now offers full printability of the pages and new links. Many behind the scenes upgrades allow for a more dynamic website with faster, easier, and enhanced user navigation. Look for new pictures and features such as monthly blog posts in the coming months. In addition to announcing changes at the law firm, blog posts will contain tips and reminders, and will highlight recent or upcoming legislative changes in the Firm’s practice areas.
Electronic Billing & Credit Card Payments
After a one-year pilot period, the law firm has launched the option of e-paperless billing. Commencing with the September 15th, 2016 billing cycle, clients who opt-in will receive their invoices in their email in-boxes between the 25th of the month and the 5th of the new month. Those who wish to pay by credit card may do so over the telephone or in the office for sums up to $500.00 without additional service charge. For sums over $500.00, a 1.75% pass-through service charge will apply. Deposits to our Lawyer Trust account by credit card will be available within the next 60 days.
Law Firm turns 33
On September 13, 2016, the law Firm’s founder, Martial E. Henault, Esq., celebrated the 33rd anniversary of his swearing-in ceremony in the Rotunda of the State Capitol in Salem, Oregon on September 13th, 1983. At that time, all new admittees to the Oregon State Bar and their guests fit in the Rotunda where an Oregon Supreme Court Justice swore all of them in at once. The firm opened its doors for business a few days later as months of spade work had made the law firm turn-key ready. The rest, as the saying goes, is history.
